Training

Desktop Ergonomics provides introductory ergonomics training for employees, as well as supervisor or safety committee member training on how to recognize risk factors and assess employee workstations.

Employee Training
To reduce the risk of developing repetitive motion injuries, employees are taught basic ergonomics awareness, signs and symptoms, and proper workstation set-up and organization.

Supervisor / Safety Committee Training
To help manage a healthy work environment, supervisors and safety committee members are trained on:

  • Ergonomics risk factors and repetitive motion injuries.
  • Recognizing an ergonomically incorrect workstation.
  • Performing a workstation assessment.

Office Ergonomics – Low Cost Solutions
To help maintain an ergonomics program with little to no budget, supervisors and safety committees are taught how to adjust workstations with existing equipment, as well as implementing low cost improvements to maintain a productive work environment.

Away From Work Activities
Repetitive motion injuries can and do develop outside the workplace. With every training session, helpful tips are provided for frequent business travelers, as well as at-home ergonomics.
